I shoot both digital and 35mm film, but am moving more towards film now as it is much more fun and I feel has more creative possibilities.

I get lots of inspiration from traditional photographers such as Henri Cartier Bresson but also from people like negative feedback. Instagram is also a great source of inspiration and a great way to reach out to people for advice.

My favourite thing to photograph is architecture, over the years I've had many favourites, from landscape to macro and so on but now my focus is mainly on architectural photography. In the near future I'm going to start working more on portraiture so that might become my new favourite I never know.

I am passionate about photography, I would have said something else but the only one thing that I ever feel driven to do it to take photos. School is so time consuming that it's becoming harder and harder to find time to do anything that I like but I always manage to find time for photography.

One thing shown through my art, especially my architectural pictures, would be the theme of isolation. I don’t focus on this theme because I am isolated myself, I just find it an interesting aspect of society to capture in my photos.

I feel like Perth is a place that is based very much around adults and work with little room for the youth. Personally, i think there is no sense of "community" or even friendliness to Perth and that needs to change first. Secondly, there needs to be a change in the opportunities available for younger people to engage in and connect with the people around them.

Perth is a sick place to be because…?

because Perth is not very dense in terms of its population it can be quiet a lot of the time which is perfect for hanging out and finding places that have no-one there to shoot some nice pics. Perth is also fun to explore and to find interesting looking places.

I collect cameras and camcorders as much as I can and as much as my bank balance allows me so I have quite the range of options when it comes to picking what ill use for a day of shooting. so far in my collection I have a; Nikon FM2n, Nikon D3400, Olympus XA3 (times 2), Canon Prima BF-7, Mamiya DSX1000, Canon rebel 2000, Kodak C813, Panasonic NV-DS60 and a Panasonic SDR-S26.

My go-to digital camera is the Nikon D3400 with 18-55mm lens, I use this for occasions where I know I'm going to need to shoot a lot of photos.

My go-to film camera is the Nikon FM2n with 50mm f1.4 lens, it's the best camera I've ever used although quite heavy and full manual, I use this for specific occasions where I know I want quality, sharp photos.

My go-to street photography camera is the Olympus XA3, it's quiet and small so perfect for not being noticed.

Finally, my go-to video camera is the Panasonic SDR-S26, its compact, ergonomic and has that "homemade/vintage" feel to the videos.
