To all the inquisitive, abstract and colourful free loving souls reading this, the simplest answer I can give you is this - you are my inspiration!
People and their personalities inspire me! Their actions and emotions captivate me! As an observer, I feel this instant urge to capture them in their element, in their candid moment. This urge began as an itch; I accepted it as a promising dream for me to focus toward. I embraced the idea with open arms & set off to study a Diploma in Digital Photography. At the time I was only a photography enthusiast, but now, I aspire to pursue a career in Digital Photography. This itch, which was once only a dream of mine, is now a reality. It’s a scratch & I can feel it growing under my skin. Eager to pursue & learn all that I can, to absorb all the knowledge the world has to offer. It’s at out finger tips-literally. I choose to embrace it all, the technology, and the change. It’s ever evolving and I don’t want to be left behind, do you?
If there is any worthwhile advice I could give you, it would be to embrace it all. Embrace your true self, whether society agrees or not, strut yo' stuff! Flaunt it! Empower others with your opened mind, full heart and honest soul. You will guide yourself; just listen to your spirit. There it’s all said and done, now fly free.
As an eco-friendly, organic and holistic life stylist, I would describe my artwork with two words ‘raw and earthy’.
I encourage visual art that is intuitive, creative and expressive. I capture unique, raw and natural beings. I aim to express the raw, the earth, the nature and the being, in an image. It’s insane, the impact one photograph can have on a person’s life. It can be someone’s most valuable treasure, a memory they’ll cherish for their lifetime.
